Hands down, best place to take your car! They are honest and will never mislead you. Cory takes the time to explain what is going on with your car. They fit you in and help when there are last minute things going on. You can tell Customer Service means a lot to this business!!!
Everyone wants mechanic they can trust. My husband and I have been to probably a dozen garages since our move to Pittsburgh a few years ago, and we never felt good about any of them. We seriously lamented not being able to see our old mechanic. After asking around, we were referred to Cory at MAC by 3 different families, so we figured we'd give him a shot. In short, we've found our new mechanic! We are blown away by his respectful manner, customer service, and integrity.
I was going to Uber to my hotel but they wouldn't hear of it - drove me there themselves- offered to even pick me up, but I wouldn't hear of that (too nice). They were straight forward, honest, and we were all excited when the fix ended up being less than it could have been.
If you're looking for a mechanic, don't look any further than MAC! This is the place!
I'm not from this area, so I was worried about being able to find an honest mechanic when my Jeep wouldn't start. After reading the reviews here on google, I gave MAC a try. Cory and the staff were all extremely courteous, friendly, and professional. They did an expert job on my jeep, diagnosed the problem the first try, and got it done under the estimate (unlike other garages that will try everything else before repairing the real problem). This shop is THE best. I wish I lived near Pittsburgh just so I could take my car there.
I broke down on my way into Pittsburgh right near their closing time. I called them and instead of saying sorry, it's too late, they rushed over the parts we thought it needed (based on my phone-call) stayed late while I got it towed over, and checked it out. It needed a different part than I had guessed, unfortunately. They said no big, they'd figure it out in the AM.
I was SO impressed by their work, and so grateful for their help. I've never been in such a friendly shop. My dad's an awesome car guy - when he heard my story he was more than surprised, and grateful himself.
He has helped us with a few different issues with our vehicles now, most recently an issue that (after his offer to call about our warranty coverage) ended up being covered by our warranty! It was incredible - all I did was drop my vehicle off, and Cory kept in close contact with us. He saved us the phone tag hassle and before I knew it, my vehicle was done and ready to pick up!
MAC prices are fair and comparable to other garages, and for customer safety they recommend best practice. On another repair a few months ago, MAC quoted me at a price that was more than the dealership quoted me, but upon dropping my vehicle off to the dealership garage, they changed their stance and quoted me at a higher price. Integrity is a big deal to me, so I took my business to MAC and walked out paying exactly what I was quoted with work done right.
The best auto shop I've been to. They never pressure you into anything you don't need or push extra things on you to get more money. Really helpful and down to earth people. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone
They worked harder and faster than I would have ever expected any strangers to help me get home from my trip- my car was ready the next day. (I also am pretty convinced they fixed my windshield wiper - they never said anything but it was super streaky until I picked up my car from them)
